Movie contest

 

Hey girls! Sorry it's been a while since I've posted. I have a couple blogs that I'm working on writing  but I'm still trying to find the right words and the time to write them! But I thought of a contest.It's not really a contest but I couldn't think of anything else to call it. So it's a movie contest! Anyone can be apart of it! Here are the rules/directions:
1.First find your favorite movie, or one of your favorite movies! If you truly cant choose on one you can do two movies.
2.Make a blog and put a picture of the front cover of the dvd on the blog.
3.Then write a little something of what the movie is about.
4.Tell your favorite character or characters and why you like them so much.
5.Write a couple of your favorite lines from the movie- If you have a favorite and can think of them!
6.Write a couple of your favorite scenes-If you have a favorite and can think of them!
7.Put a link to my blog on the post.
8. Comment on this blog post and tell me that you have made a movie post so that I, and others can go and check it!
   Also this is just for fun. I hope you will enjoy it and just have fun with it! :)
         The movie I' am choosing is Narnia the lion the which and the wardrobe. A well known movie and a favorite among most! I really like all three of the movies but I decided to go with the first and the classic one! I hope you enjoy!  

 
Description- Four siblings - Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie - are sent to live with Professor Digory Kirke who lives in a country house in the English countryside.  When the children are exploring the house, they discover an old wardrobe that leads them into the exciting, never-to-be forgotten world of Narnia. In this amazing adventure they meet the magical and mysterious Asian, the great lion, who struggles with the White Witch, the pretend queen of Narnia. The witch is determined to keep Narnia in her possession and to end the reign of Asian.
   The children set out on a quest to save Narnia from the witch and intense action unfolds featuring chases, duels and escapes.
   
My favorite character would be aslan, obviously he is pretty awesome and one of the most important characters! He carries a soft yet powerful aura about Him. He is very wise and I relate his character much like Gods!
My second favorite character would probably be Mr. tumnus! Why? Well he just seems like a friendly fawn! I think that he is also just a good, and kind-hearted fawn and that you can see right away in him.

My favorite lines-
It's been awhile since I've seen the movie so this I have to think hard on.

[about to charge into battle] 
1. Peter: For Narnia and for Aslan! 

2.Peter: [to Edmund, after Lucy heals him] When are you gonna learn to do as you're told 

3. Professor Kirke: What were you all doing in the wardrobe? 
Peter: You wouldn't believe us if we told you, sir. 
Professor Kirke: [tosses the cricket ball that had been hit through the window, to Peter] 
Professor Kirke: Try me. 
[later, alone with Lucy, who is trying to use the wardrobe to enter Narnia] 
Professor Kirke: I don't think you'll get back in that way. You see... I've already tried. 
Lucy : Will we ever go back? 
Professor Kirke: Oh, I expect so. But it'll probably happen when you're not looking for it. All the same... best to keep your eyes open. 
[Aslan roars] 

4. Mr. Beaver: When Adam's Flesh and Adam's bone sits at Cair Paravel in throne, the evil time will be over and done. 

5.Aslan: What’s done is done. There is no need to speak with Edmond about his past.

My favorite scene- I'm not sure which one would be my favorite. 1.I do like the scene when Lucy goes into Narnia for the first time and meets Mr. Tumnus! 2.But I also like the scene when Aslan comes back to life he, Lucy and Susan go to the battle then Aslan roars and all the evil ones die then Lucy goes around and starts healing everybody! Those are the two ones I can think of right now that I like!

A beautiful post about love.....

  I was reading this really good post about love. Yes, awwww love. Well.....no I mean the real definition of love. The true story behind it and how it looks like. This kind of  love is a lot different than the love the world shows! But Amen to that because we, as chrisians are suppose to look- different! So i encourage you to be different! Go and do the things God is callin you to do! Dont be afraid to stand out- God will give the courage you need! :)

   Yesterday i came home from what turned out to be a horrible camping trip. We were suppose to be there for 3 days but instead we stayed just one night.  It was horrible! Ill write more about it soon! What was your favorite camping trip that you've been on?

Dreaming of Fall

I am dreaming of Fall right now. I really can't wait for Fall! Usually I don't want Summer to end and for Fall to come but this year it is different! I think I'm ready for a knew season... in a couple different ways!But as of now I'm going to post some fall pictures to get you inspired for Fall also!

 Today I started school while being sick. School went well! But I'm just working on getting over being sick! Hope you had a great day!

Whats been going on in my world

My mom and seth my younger brother  and myself helped set up for a graduation party. The graduation  party was for  one of my best friends-Melissa.

We saw a bard owl driving home one day. That was a big deal. We don't get to many owls where I live.

Seth, my younger brother and my cousin cassy were boxing/playing around in our kitchen one Sunday after church.

I went to camp for 6 day.

My mom and I and others worked on the props and back drops for V.B.S. My mom is in this picure.

There was a stray cat in our yard when I was being Miss photgrapher. 

Our church had a back to school bubble blast in a park in the town I live in for all of the people in our town.

The back to school bubble blast. There were a lot of bubbles. We had backpacks we gave away and free food.

I had wheat thins today :)

Braces.... can you relate?

This morning I had an orthodontics appointment. They've made my day a pain filled one! If you have had braces or have braces you know what I mean! I previously have been having a powerchain on my top teeth. I've had it for several months. They took that off and changed the wire. But that's not all.... they are currently having me where rubber bands. Not to bad I've worn them before! But this time they are in a triangle shape in the front of my mouth. I can only open up my mouth just a little bit! But they hurt so much!!! And another thing I'm talking weird now because of the rubber band since I can hardly open my mouth! It's horrible!! But I will endure it and eventually my teeth will look better. It will be worth pain! I just need to man up a little! 

The rubber bands are the two pink things on the side of my mouth.

It may look like I'm smiling weird but i'm not this is what they are making my mouth do!

That's as wide as I can open my mouth!

I'm in pain! =P

  Tonight my church is having  a back to school bubble blast at a park in the town we live in. We've passed out flyers all around the neighborhood to invite everyone. We will be giving away eight backpacks full of school supplies. We are also giving away baggies filled with school supplies in which they will be passing out to every child. I'm excited for it! We did a water balloon fight a couple weeks ago in the same park. That was a LOT of fun!

A good song with a great day

   This evening I got this song stuck in my head and I forgot the lyrics so I went to look them up but of course I wanted to listen to the song also! It's a well known song but it's such a good song that I decided to post it! ;) I hope your blessed from listening to it! I know I was! =D

This afternoon I went to a birthday party for one of my close friends Cassie. I have known her and been best friends with her for 10 years!! She turned 15 last Saturday. So happy late birthday girl! You are awesome!! 

   We played games, ran around, laughed....a lot, ate cake, laughed some more, opened gifts, oh and we laughed a little bit more! It was fun and a great time!
